Domains, websites, ecommerce, email

It isn't an exaggeration to say that these days, every business needs to have an online presence in some form or another. Increasingly companies looking for suppliers turn to google rather than more traditional methods (like the Yellow Pages).

It therefore follows that even if your website consists of just one page with a brief description of your company, and some contact details, this may make you easier to find for both new and existing customers. If customers can find you, they can purchase from you.

A DOMAIN
A domain is your business's name online. So you need a domain. Your domain needs to reflect your company's name, or main product(s). Gradwell are our preferred domain registration provider. Choosing a suitable domain name draws on almost all of the same principles as choosing a company name (see the Starting Up section covering this). In general the shorter the domain, the better. If you cannot get your company's name in domain form, then a descriptive domain may work.
